Gabriel was decrying the sordid collusion between the tabloid press, moneyed interests and politicians in the UK back in 1973. Couldn't be more apropos today, except The Daily Express circa 1973, object of Gabriel's wrath here, reads like The Economist compared to the world-wide Murdoch empire of sleaze today.
